Why Choose Canoe?

Canoe is one of the largest cooperative purchasing organizations in the country and represents municipal associations across Canada. Since Canoe / Sourcewell performs the RFP process in advance on behalf of the entire membership in accordance with the CFTA and other Canadian trade legislation, you don’t need to post the RFP / tender again.

Membership is free and there are no charges or requirements to use Canoe contracts. Suppliers pay a fee to Canoe each time their contract is used, which funds their services. Canoe membership is available to organizations in the MASH (municipalities, academic institutions, school boards, and hospitals), not-for-profit, and public sectors.
