Social Responsibility

Each year, a charity that is of significance to a Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE) employee is selected as the year’s Charity of Choice.  Together, JJE rallies to raise funds through various events that are donated to the selected Charity of Choice.

In 2011, JJE donated $10,000 to The David Busby Centre, near our head office in Barrie, Ontario.

In 2012, JJE’s Charity of Choice is The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. We reached our goal and matched last year’s donation of $10,000!  Please take a look at our News Page for more information.

JJE is also proud to have participated in other worthwhile charities in 2012 such as Habitat for Humanity and In School Mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.  Each branch also supports local charities through donations - such as the Back to School Campaign for the Rochester City School District where we donated $400 in school supplies.
