The SRS-P100 is the portable, environmentally friendly way to solve your snow storage problems. Our closed loop HTS melting process ensures you are not adding pollutants to the by-product melt water.

The entire system can be towed from site to site utilizing a tandem commercial grade dump truck, has a guaranteed 100 ton per hour (TPH) melt capacity, is just under 38 feet in length, has a simple control system, and features optional hydraulically operated lifting/tilting cleanout trays. This allows the in-tank grit/residue to easily slide to the starboard side and exit through the cleanout doors. It is a very simple and efficient system.

COST COMPARISON SRS-P100
Melting vs. Hauling/Trucking
(Example: Goal of removing 100 tons of snow per hour)

i

Variables:
1. Truck load capacity
2. Snow density
3. Turn-around time per load per truck

Assumptions for this particular example:
1. Truck load capacity of 12 cu. yds. per truck
2. Snow density of 25 lbs/cu. ft.
3. Total turn-around time of 20 min/load per truck
4. Per truck operating cost of $120.00/hr.
5. Front End Loader operating cost of $120.00/hr.

**Removing 100 tons of snow per hour, at a density of 25 lbs/cu. ft. = 297cu. yds. per hour.

Traditional Hauling/Trucking Method

To Haul 297cu. yds/hr. would require approximately 8 trucks or 24.75 loads/hr.

8 trucks  X $120/hr = $960.00/hr
1 loader X $120/hr = $120.00/hr
Total   $1080.00/hr

Melting Method

To Melt 100 tons/hr or 297cu. yds/hr would require (1) SRS-P100 portable melter.

Burner fuel: (avg) 150 US GPH @ $2.25/gal = $337.50/hr
Front End Loader: 1 X $120/hr = $120.00/hr
Operator wages:   = $25.00/hr
Maintenance/Service:   = $10.00/hr
Depreciation: (10,000 hrs use) = $31.50/hr
  Total $524.00/hr

Cost Savings of Melting vs. Hauling/Trucking

Hauling/Trucking = $1080.00/hr   Cost per Ton = $10.80
SRS-P100 Melter = $524.00/hr   Cost per Ton = $5.24
Savings by Melting = $556.00/hr   Savings per Ton = $5.56

The answer is obvious. MELTING SAVES MONEY!
